Bumble and bumble
The Beehive carries the Bumble and bumble core line and treatment line. Becoming a Bumble and bumble "Treatment Salon" is accomplished by meeting certain Bumble standards and focuses on the care and repair of our client's scalp and hair. Along with this honor of being a Treatment salon, what does it mean for our clients? It means that with each and every salon visit, our clients will receive a complimentary conditioning treatment, (a $45.00 value) formulated specifically for their hair and scalp issues. The treatment effects are felt immediately as your hair will feel like silk and shine like satin upon completion of your visit!

Continuing Education
Bumble and bumble's Design 1 Workshops concentrate on both shear and razor techniques. Stylists must have 5 years experience with both shears and razor and be comfortable using a razor in at least 20% of all cuts. Beehive stylists travel to Bumble and bumble University in New York to attend these week long intense workshops.

• All our stylists have traveled to Bumble and bumble to attend Bb's Design 1 Workshop.

• This year all our stylists are scheduled to travel to Bumble and bumble to attend Bb's Design Studio Workshop.

News

• The Beehive will soon be welcoming two new stylists.

• Last June the entire Beehive took a road trip to Seattle to "Tour de Bumble" to learn new hair design from Howard McClaren who is one of the top haircutters in the world.

• Gail, Kate and Kyle traveled to New York for a wek of classes and to participate on a three salon panel representing how small salons can conduct themselves in a positve professional manner in a modern cut throat business environment.

• The Beehive was selected out of 2,500 salons nation wide to be featured in Bumble and bumble's magazine "Clips" spring edition. This will be going into the Beehive's archives along with the film that aired on PBS about the Beehive.

• Bumble and bumble came to the Beehive in March teaching a workshop on Bb Couture which focused on fitting clients' hair style with their lifestyle.

• The Beehive has just recently won a Treatment Challenge. The Beehive competed and prevailed against 450 salons nation wide. The competiton included styling and restoring damaged hair with a complete make-over. Congratulations Beehive on a job well done!
